Stuffed Animal duck-duck-goose!

I caught Anamarie playing duck-duck-goose with her stuffed animals the other night. She was getting ready for bed and decided she still had more time to play, so she quickly placed her favorite animals in a circle and touched each head. After choosing the "goose" she grabbed the stuffed animal and held it behind her as she ran, so she could be chased ;) Very Imaginative!

Baby push-ups

This is how Brett does his push-ups; on daddy's back. However, after a few minutes of watching daddy and Taylor do them, he actually figured it out. Anamarie joined in, and they did their push-ups together.

Taylor's Band Concert

This was Taylor's last Band Concert of the Year 2010. He's in 7th Grade Beginner Band at American Fork Junior High and he really excelled this year. For the first half of the year he played the Clarinet, and the last half he played Bass Clarinet; which he loved. The Concert went from 6:30-7:30 pm on Wednesday night. Taylor's band only played for 30 minutes, however, he had to stay for the rest of the concert which was worth 600 points; a big part of his grade. With Brett & Anamarie both on Brady's lap, I was able to enjoy the show baby free while filming and shooting pix. Kim and Janise came to support Taylor as well.

Mother's Day Card

Brady was very creative this year. He had all the kids build this "Gi-normous" card for me for mother's day. We have had a lot of fun eating all those candy bars together.

Macanas-Cullimore Wedding in SLC

We had the opportunity to take part in a beautiful wedding this weekend. Our Step Sister, Jessica Macanas Married Tyson Cullimore on Friday, April 23rd. They had the most beautiful wedding at the SLC Temple and the reception was that night at the Joseph Smith Memorial. She is so beautiful, Anamarie thought she was a real princess; I told her she was. The kids looked flawless with their matching wardrobe and perfect hair, but that only lasted for the first 30 minutes. I took as many pictures of them as I possibly could before we had kids crying & screaming at each other.

Dop-Da-Day, Tuesday, Wen, Sunday!!

For those of you who aren't familiar whith this language it simply means "fall on the couch and say this, Dop-Da-Day, Tuesday, Wen, Sunday", Anamarie tells me. She has created a fun little game for her & Brett where she lines up about 4 chairs on the backside of the couch while using the chairs to stand on and simply fall over the couch doing a somersault while repeating the infamous words "dop-da-day, Tuesday, Wen, Sunday!

Anamarie's a Comedian!

Wow! Anamarie was full of funny phrases today. She and her friend Jacob Garces were playing barbies outside on the play set when I brought some lunch to them and said if they ate all their lunch, they would get an ice cream cone. After about 10 minutes Anamarie comes running in the house with half of her untouched sandwich, quickly puts it on the counter and runs in to the bathroom. She closes the bathroom door, but I was in the kitchen so I could hear her when she said "did you hear that", I said "no" she then says "oh that was my stomach because it's starving for ice cream!" She comes up with a new strategy every day to get that ice cream.

Later on this evening, Maddy and I were watching HGTV in my bedroom when Anamarie makes her presents known by saying, "I need a fousand dollars" then goes over to my dresser drawer to my coin stash and grabs a hand full of coins. I then asked her "why do you need a fousand dollars?" She tells me "Oh it's for my piddy bank" I wish I had a piddy bank with a founsand dollars in it. ;)

About 5 minutes later she comes back to my bedroom and I ask her "Anamarie, what have you been doing?" She replies, "I've been farting" I completely lost it. I laughed so hard I thought I would go into labor. The funny part is how serious she is when she makes these statements. Funny Girl! She keeps me laughing all day!

Best Buddies!!

Anamarie typically wakes up later than all of us, so it's a fun morning ritual for Brett and I to wake her up with kisses and back scratches, but Brett just likes to tackle Anamarie until she reluctantly wakes up. However, this morning Brett wanted to get a jump start on things and do it himself. From the office below I heard lots of noises and hysterical laughing from Brett; so I knew something was up. I found them in our bed playing together. They are already best buds!

Basketball Baby!!

Yes, he has a one track mind; even at 15 months old. If it's round; it's a ball! If it's round and orange it's a basketball; as far as Brett is concerned. He is constantly keeping himself entertained as he finds more "basketballs" in our house for him to play with. Luckily, we constantly keep our fruit basket full of oranges, I mean "basketballs" for him to practice his jump shot with.
