Brett Turns 2!!

Brett had a happy 2nd Birthday party with lots of family. He loved the part of blowing out the candles before we sang to him. However, the second time around he was patient and waited until the song was over :) Maddy made a very delicious cake; German Chocolate with coconut pecan frosting. It was such a hit that the entire cake was devoured before the night was over. After cake and ice cream Brett opened presents. He didn't show a whole lot of excitement because his older sister was too busy cheering with every opening of a new present. He received a shirt & pants outfit from grandma Janise & grandpa Kim. Lots of great books from grandma Eldean & Grandpa Bob. From us he received: A Toy Story car race toy, big boy underwear, band aids, cookies, and a dump truck. His favorite present was the Toy Story car race. Brett and his cousin Briggs had a lot of fun "sharing" that toy until it was time to leave.
My little guy is growing up.

Madison's Christmas List

Maddy presented her Christmas list to me the other day. As you can see, she knows what she wants and gets straight to the point. It was a small list that I am happy with. She was very creative :)

Lazy Baby!!

Yes, My almost 6 month old baby is extremely lazy! He has officially rolled over once, but won't do it again. My other 4 kids were crawling by 7 months, but William will most likely not follow in his siblings footsteps. He is very content laying on his back playing with his mobile, hence; the very flat head. Luckily, the Dr. said he doesn't have to wear a helmet. I also can't get him to eat any type of baby food. I have tried every type of vegetable, and decided to switch over to fruits...nope, he won't even eat peaches or applesauce :(

"Du Dory Pa Por"

Translation: Toy Story & Popcorn. Brett asks me this about 5 times a day. Sadly, he get's it only once. He has grown out of Elmo (finally) and advanced his movie interests to Toy Story 3. He loves this movie!!He is very faithful to only ONE movie at a time, and won't watch anything else; not even ELMO anymore. His big sister taught him that he can't watch a movie unless he has popcorn.

Brett, Anamarie and Madison were all having fun on Madison's gymnastic mats in the backyard. Notice how amazing Brett is at his carwheels :)

Maddy & Lori's weird plate guy

I am not sure what these two were thinking when they created this, but they had a lot of fun doing it. One crazy idea lead to another, and before long, this ordinary plate had a weird identity :)

William & Brett's first Sleepover

We were in a panic when we couldn't find Brett. We looked everywhere until Taylor had a thought to go look in the boys bedroom; and there he found him. Brett had crawled into the babies crib and fell asleep with his little brother who was wide awake. Too cute.

Happy baby in a dolly stroller

Anamarie thought it would be a great idea to put baby William in her baby doll stroller. He obviously didn't care and enjoyed every minute of it :)

"Queen of the House"

Her words exactly; "I am Queen of the House!" She disappeared as we were doing Family Night, and came back with quite an outfit. As you can see, she was dressed to impress! From the shirt that is really a teddy bear dress, to the vacuum attachment topped with my "Will" golf ball for her staff, to the hiked up skirt so her booty was showing. She had us laughing so hard, as she got on the table and started giving commands.

Movie "Must Haves"

Anamarie knows how to prepare her own popcorn in the microwave, and she has convinced herself that she needs it every time she watches a movie :) Her and Brett were all ready for their movie when I caught them with their bowl of popcorn and 6 cookies; I don't think so :)

Barbie Push-ups

Anamarie informed me that her barbies needed to "work out", as she put them in push-up position.

Barbie Slumber Party

Another precious moment by Anamarie. She must have done this one night when I wasn't looking. Every single barbie was all snuggled up next to each other for a sleepover :)

Brett found mommy's makeup

Yes, even 2 year old little boys like makeup. The funny thing is that he thinks mascara and lipstick both go on lips; notice the mascara :)

~ Beautiful Girl ~

I couldn't resist; I had to put this one on here just to show how beautiful Maddy is. At 11 years old she still get's straight A's, sings like an angel, and is so kind to everyone. I just love her!!!!!!!

Heiner House Construction

Our home was finished in March 2002. We spotted the land in October of 2000 and we fell in love with the area and the plot. We had looked all over Orem and Saratoga Springs for land, but we happened to accidently drive to upper American Fork where we found our future home lot. It was one of those "This is the place" moments. There wasn't any hesitation on whether or not we should live here, we just weren't sure if we could afford it. Within a few months things were moving. We were approved for the loan, and the building permit and building began. With the many man (and woman) hours of Brady, myself, Kim Heiner, John Burnes, and many others, plus many broken bones, and near death experiences, and over-nighters the home was completed in 14 long months. At 4900 square feet, our home has given 7 people more than enough room to grow into. We love our home, and our neighborhood and we are blessed to live here among Great people.
