One CRAZY Photo shoot!

Yelling, Crying, Kissing. Yep, that's my life!

Some Days are REALLY HARD...

...and seem unbearable.

Anamarie's 1st Day of Kindergarten!!

Anamarie was so excited to start Kindergarten, and could hardly wait to meet her new teacher; Mrs. Ericson. She had her evaluation a few days before school started, and saw her new classroom, and table; which made her even more excited.

Here she is on the first day with her new sparkly purple shirt, her "twinkle toes" shoes, and Kung Fu Panda backpack. As you can see from her pictures, she thinks she's pretty hot.

Brady and I took her to school early so she could play on the playground with friends until the bell rang, then we snuck in the classroom and took even more pictures of her at her table. She had a great 1st day! When she got home she couldn't remember the classroom rules very well, but informed me about a boy named Gavin, what he was wearing, and that he had a "beauty mark" on his lip. I see a little crush brewing with one of her classmates; Gavin Whitehead :) 5 years old and liking boys...this can't be good :/

Head-band Laugh Attack!!

Anamarie and I were having a girls night out while shopping for her new school clothes when we found ourselves a little distracted by something in the far distance; giant headbands. I had never seen anything like this; ever. They were the size of hats, but they were in fact headbands. I wanted to buy it as a keepsake, but then realized it would just collect dust, so we chose one much smaller instead. The video shows Anamarie's response as I hold up a mirror to reveal her beautiful head piece.

Going Western!!

Our annual trip to Lagoon was a blast this year, and mostly because daddy was there this time. After dinner the kids were very anxious to get back to the rides, but I insisted on getting these Western Formal pictures taken. This is something that I have always wanted to do, but no one else shared the same excitement. With much resistance, especially from Brady, we ended up in the photo studio playing dress up to find our perfect outfits for the perfect photo. Yes, 7 people was quite a challenge for the photographers especially when Brett wouldn't make eye contact & William was ready for bed. With perseverance, we managed to snap a few priceless pix and everyone actually enjoyed it; even Brady. Take a look.

"Go Maddy!" 1st Soccer Game

This was Maddy's first soccer game of the season. The last time she had played soccer was when she was 7, and she must have forgotten that she didn't have to run the entire field. It's a good thing she is in great shape, because she did an hour and a half of constant running. Brady and I worked with her on the rules and positions of the game. Brett was so cute, he would copy everything I said as I cheered on Maddy from the sideline. "Go Maddy!!"
