Yelling, Crying, Kissing. Yep, that's my life!

Some Days are REALLY HARD...

...and seem unbearable.

But families are FOREVER

Easter 2011

We had a really great family Easter dinner with the Heiner's, Whimpey's, & Burnes'. We had the Easter Egg hunt first for the kids because it was sooo cold outside. Along with our eggs, Eldean brought eggs and filled them with candy and money, so the my older kids were a little sad when they "opted out" of the Easter egg hunt this year.

Baby William at 11 months old

Baby William is still the best baby ever! He is always happy. He sleeps 12 hours at night, and has a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. He even giggles every time he sees his bed; he loves sleeping. He is currently recovering from bronchiolitis which I was lucky to catch before it became RSV. I have to give him albuterol breathing treatments twice a day, but it's working wonders and he's getting better. He is currently our second "runt" in the family, next to his older brother Brett. Both of them are in the 10 percentile for weight, 25% for height and 10% for head circumference. Unlike their older brother Taylor who has always been in the 90-100 percentile across the board. William does enjoy a hearty diet too, and I love making all his baby food mostly because of the cost & nutrition. So his favorites so far are: Strawberries, bananas, peaches, avocados, green beans, plums, carrots and applesauce. It's supper easy to make. I just blend the baby food in a blender with a little water and pour into ice trays for freezing. Once frozen I put into large zip lock baggies and keep frozen until each meal. When it's time to eat, I take 4 different flavors out and place them into a small zip lock baggie and put in hot water for 10 minutes. Then I mix it with either baby rice or oatmeal and he devours the entire bowl. He is everywhere and almost into everything, ane each day he discovers something new. He's such a cutie boy!!

William's Measurements as of May 11th 2011:
Age: 11 months
Date: 5-11-2011
Length: 28.5 inches (25%)
Weight: 19 lbs 2 oz. (10%)
Head Circ: 45 cm (25%)

Bully on a Bike

My sweet little Brettsie has turned into quite the bully lately as he drives around on his bike with his play gun & Cheetos saying "I'm gonna shoop you, as he "shoops" the dog. He "shoops" mommy and daddy and all his siblings, but for some reason he won't "shoop" the baby. He also throws anything in sight, especially at his big sister "E". He has learned his own defense mechanism, and is using it to an extreme. He has spent lots of time in time out lately, so hopefully he will learn very soon how wrong his behavior is; even if it's cute.

The Barbie Thong!

Anamarie always finds creative accessories to add to her barbies, like the Barbie Thong you see here in the picture. Pretty adorable!

Who wiped the booger on the carpet?

What a mystery this was!! A 3 inch long booger on our carpet and no one was fessing up to the crime. Brett insisted it was his older sister "E" (Anamarie), but Anamarie claimed she didn't do it. Finally, after I bribed them one of them comes clean. This video is priceless.

Fun in a Box!

Anamarie and Brett love to watch for the "Mailbox Man" to see what fun things he has brought for the Heiner Family. But on occasion the "other Mailbox Man" (UPS) will bring big boxes with fun stuff inside. They don't really care too much about the contents of the box, but the box itself. This time they were fascinated by the packaging peanuts because they could shred them into snowflakes while sitting inside the box. The small and simple things that make us happy :)

John Buckner's Birthday Bash!

John turned 39 on May 13th, and we all celebrated this night with him at Tipanyaki's Japanese Steak House; one of our favorites :) We just love hanging out with them, and it's nice that John is not traveling anymore so we can see more of him and Dia. John managed to get some cool pictures of everyone too. After dinner, we headed back to their house for cake and icecream. I even managed to capture a little video of him blowing out his candles. James & Anne Jensen, Russ & Cyndi Lowry, Bill & Emily Thresher, Matt & Melissa Brady, Brady & I, & John & Dia hung out that night. It was a great night.

CRAZY Hair Day!! (more like cute hair day)

For the entire month of May, Anamarie has something fun & creative to do for Preschool. On this day it was "Crazy hair day" and she wanted me to spray her hair with bright orange hair spray and put in into 3 crazy buns. I must say, she looked very cute and not so crazy, that I think I will do her hair like this for Church someday :)

Strike a Pose!

Anamarie & I were desperate for something to do while we waited at the Costco photo lab, so Anamarie did was she does best, and entertained everyone. She headed for the sunglasses and tried almost every pair on, and naturally posed every time. With her constant posing for the camera, she may have a future career in modeling or acting someday.
