Mom & kids at Lagoon

I must have been crazy when I thought I could go to Lagoon with 5 kids and 1 parent. Fortunately, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I was even nice enough to let Taylor & Madison go and do their own rides together while I kept the 3 younger ones. Anamarie was having a blast!! Brett, not so much. He went on 1 ride with Anamarie, and a train ride with mommy and Maddy; which he didn't like either. Brady came up after work and stayed with Taylor & Madison, and I took the younger ones home. The new bob stroller made this day a little easier too.

William Giggles

William is 7 weeks old today, and he actually giggled at me. It was the cutest thing, and it was totally unexpected. After a long smile he decided to make my day and throw in a laugh too. All of our other kids giggled around 3 months old, which makes him ahead of the rest by a long shot.

"The Pray Man"

Last night Anamarie was trying to convince me that she needed to sleep in my room because there are "monsters" in her room under her bed. I informed her that there weren't any monsters and that Heavenly Father would protect her, and make her not scared. She informed me "no, Heavenly Father isn't a real person, he's a pray man".

Graffiti on the basketball court

I was shocked when I learned it was Anamarie who was writing her name with bubble letters on the basketball court. I thought it was Madison, but Anamarie told me it was her, then showed me how she does her beautiful name with bubble letters. What a smart little girl!

Kissy Fishy

After Anamarie's bath yesterday, Maddy and I bursted into laughter when we saw this new arrangement of our bathroom fish. When Anamarie plays barbies, the prince will wake his princess with a kiss; apparently fish can do the same ;)

Brett's Favorite Book about "du-du's"

Most kids sleep with blankets or teddy bears, but Brett sleeps with his favorite book. He loves this book, and for one reason only; the trucks on page 8. This counting book represents each number with images, and on page 8, there are pictures with 8 trucks which he calls "Du" or "du-du". He won't let me turn the page, so we sit there and stare at the "du-du's" for 10 minutes, before he decides he needs to sleep with this book each night.

Brett's new Toy

Brett found a new toy; daddy's 4-wheeler. Brady pulled out his boy toy to help do some yard work on Saturday and Brett fell in love. The best part for Brett was going on an hour long ride with Maddy Anamarie and Brady up to the Pleasant Grove "G" on the mountain.
