One CRAZY Photo shoot!

Yelling, Crying, Kissing. Yep, that's my life!

Some Days are REALLY HARD...

...and seem unbearable.

But families are FOREVER

"Queen of the House"

Her words exactly; "I am Queen of the House!" She disappeared as we were doing Family Night, and came back with quite an outfit. As you can see, she was dressed to impress! From the shirt that is really a teddy bear dress, to the vacuum attachment topped with my "Will" golf ball for her staff, to the hiked up skirt so her booty was showing. She had us laughing so hard, as she got on the table and started giving commands.

Movie "Must Haves"

Anamarie knows how to prepare her own popcorn in the microwave, and she has convinced herself that she needs it every time she watches a movie :) Her and Brett were all ready for their movie when I caught them with their bowl of popcorn and 6 cookies; I don't think so :)

Barbie Push-ups

Anamarie informed me that her barbies needed to "work out", as she put them in push-up position.

Barbie Slumber Party

Another precious moment by Anamarie. She must have done this one night when I wasn't looking. Every single barbie was all snuggled up next to each other for a sleepover :)

Brett found mommy's makeup

Yes, even 2 year old little boys like makeup. The funny thing is that he thinks mascara and lipstick both go on lips; notice the mascara :)

~ Beautiful Girl ~

I couldn't resist; I had to put this one on here just to show how beautiful Maddy is. At 11 years old she still get's straight A's, sings like an angel, and is so kind to everyone. I just love her!!!!!!!

Heiner House Construction

Our home was finished in March 2002. We spotted the land in October of 2000 and we fell in love with the area and the plot. We had looked all over Orem and Saratoga Springs for land, but we happened to accidently drive to upper American Fork where we found our future home lot. It was one of those "This is the place" moments. There wasn't any hesitation on whether or not we should live here, we just weren't sure if we could afford it. Within a few months things were moving. We were approved for the loan, and the building permit and building began. With the many man (and woman) hours of Brady, myself, Kim Heiner, John Burnes, and many others, plus many broken bones, and near death experiences, and over-nighters the home was completed in 14 long months. At 4900 square feet, our home has given 7 people more than enough room to grow into. We love our home, and our neighborhood and we are blessed to live here among Great people.

Halloween 2010

All dressed up for the first time ever! I am usually the one that doesn't like to spend the time or money on costumes for myself, but this year things had changed. I bought everyone a new costume, including Brady & I. Friday the 29th, our family was invited by our friends (Bill & Emily Thresher) to a Family Halloween Party, with pumpkin carving, contests and dinner; everyone had a blast! Madison won 2nd place in the pumpkin carving contest out of 18 kids; she lost 1st place to her best friend Kaysha. She also won 2nd place for the best kids costume. The Heiner family won second place for the best family costumes. Brady, Madison & I were all Hippies, Taylor was a Haunted Woopie Cushion, Anamarie was Super Girl, Brett was little Frankenstein, and William was a baby.

Saturday the 30th was officially Halloween in Utah. I decided to not only "go big" on the costumes, but the candy as well. I bought 3 large boxes of regular candy bar sizes from Costco; Snickers, Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, and M&M's. When the trick or treaters came to the door they had to roll a dice, and depending on the number that they rolled, that would be the candy bar they got. 1 or 4= M&M's, 2 or 5 = Reece's, 3 or 6 = snickers. The kids thought it was fun; especially Anamarie & Brett. When the kids would leave the door, Brett would yell "aah ow-een"; Translations: Happy Halloween!

Taylor's 8th Grade Band Concert

Taylor is playing the Bass Clarinet this year in band. He is only 1 of 2 people in all of 8th grade who is playing this difficult instrument. He enjoys playing, and he is very good at it. He had a concert at the American Fork HS with about 1000 people there. They were playing with the AF High School Marching Band who have taken 1st in State for numerous years now. It was fun to see Taylor play so well.
